VACA Acceptable Use Policy
Effective July 26, 2026
Permitted use
VACA is for lawful Veteran claim education, evidence organization, research, planning, examination preparation, packet development, and outcome tracking.
Prohibited conduct
- Attempting to access another user's workspace, account, session, or records.
- Submitting malware, automated abuse, denial-of-service traffic, credential attacks, scraping, or attempts to bypass Cloudflare Access.
- Submitting false identities, fraudulent records, fabricated evidence, or instructions intended to deceive VA or another person.
- Uploading or entering Social Security numbers, VA file numbers, payment-card data, passwords, secret keys, or unredacted records when those identifiers are unnecessary.
- Using VACA to threaten, harass, exploit, discriminate against, or unlawfully monitor another person.
- Copying or publishing another veteran's private information without authorization.
Enforcement
Access may be rejected, suspended, revoked, or deleted for security risk, abuse, policy violations, false access requests, or attempts to compromise another workspace. Active sessions may be revoked immediately.
No improper guarantees
VACA assists with claim development but does not guarantee a VA decision, rating, effective date, medical opinion, or legal outcome. Users remain responsible for reviewing factual accuracy before filing.
Report abuse
Use the owner contact method published on the VACA landing page. Do not include sensitive medical or identifying information in an abuse report unless specifically required.
